MJ has been MCing, DJing and Producing music for most of his life. Along the way getting to traveling with such groups as Rock the House Productions, R.T.B.P., The Joyce Ellis Dancers , Mega Jam, Alternative Generation, Metro-Mix and now his own events Club 307, The Dance Machine tour, Holy Ruckus, Align and Spring Breakdance. |
Being saved in fourth grade, MJ began his deep involvement in ministering the gospel at a young age. He became a certified youth counselor through Children's Bible Mission at the age of 14. He spent most of his summer vacations working at summer camps ministering in one aspect or another. This fueled his passion to reach teens with the gospel in a way that was relevant to them. |

In 2006 MJ was nominated for two Momentum awards Male Vocalist of the year and Urban Gospel Artist of the Year MJ is currently working on his 10th CD. You can also hear MJ's Mix show "In The Mix" and many of his remixes on Christian radio stations all around the U.S.A. |
