As a Vocal Performer and A DJ,  MJ's rhythmic style and infectious hooks have been described as a "P-Diddy" or "Toby Mac" sound.  A "Dance Club" style mix between Hip-Hop,  Pop and Dance.  The Live shows are up beat,  fun,  full of dancing and audience participation.
MJ has been MCing, DJing and Producing music for most of his life. Along the way getting to traveling with such groups as Rock the House Productions, R.T.B.P., The Joyce Ellis Dancers , Mega Jam, Alternative Generation, Metro-Mix and now his own events Club 307,  The Dance Machine tour, Holy Ruckus, Align, Spring Breakdance and The Hot Summer Sun Tour. He has also DJed  professionally in front of thousands of people as a club DJ at well known clubs and raves like

In 2006 MJ was nominated for two Momentum awards

Being saved in fourth grade, MJ began his deep involvement in ministering the gospel at a young age. He became a certified youth counselor through Children's Bible Mission at the age of 14. He spent most of his summer vacations working at summer camps ministering in one aspect or another. This fueled his passion to reach teens with the gospel in a way that was relevant to them.
